ECOPP02 Puno-Uros-Taquile-Sillustani 3D/2N
Day 1: PUNO
Reception and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: PUNO – UROS - TAQUILE
At
morning travel by boat to Uros, the unique floating islands on the Titicaca Lake,
consider the
highest lake on the world (4000 m). Aymaras and Uros natives, as
their ancestors of thousands years ago, still
living in reed houses built on the floating islands. Later on our
tour continues with
a visit to the Taquile Island, where
descendants from the Incas, who spin the finest woven goods still living
. Afternoon return to the port and transfer to the hotel in Puno. (B,L).
Day 3: PUNO
Breakfast and transport to visit
the Chullpas de Sillustani, towers made of circular stones and used
as tombs for the nobles in the pre-Inca times. Transfer to the airport,
bus/train station or program extension. (B).

ECOPP03 Puno-Uros-Amantani-Sillustani 4D/3N
Day 1: PUNO
Reception and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: PUNO - UROS - AMANTANI
At
Morning transfer to the shores of Titicaca Lake and
trasnfer by boat to
the Uros
islands, the unique floating islands located on the Titicaca
Lake, the highest
lake in the world. Here you will see a group of 40 big island-like packs
of floating totora (reeds), where Uros continue living like their
ancestors, preserving its costumes and idiosyncrasy, but above all,
their own system of communal life. Then continue our trip to Amantani
Island. World famous hand weavings and ancient communal way of life will
be admired. Overnight in local Family Houses. (B,L,D)
Day 3: AMANTANI – TAQUILE - PUNO
After a typical breakfast in a Family House in
Amantani, we´ll
continue with a
fascinating excursion on the Titicaca Lake, we will visit the
Taquile Island where descendants from the Incas, who
spin some of the finest woven goods in Peru, still living. Afternoon return to the port and transfer
to the hotel in Puno. (B,L).
Day 4: PUNO – SILLUSTANI – TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast.
In the Morning visit the Chullpas of
Sillustani, the burial site of the ancient Hatun Colla chiefs;
located on the shores of the solitary Umayo Lake. These towers made of
circular stones were used as tombs by the nobles in the pre – Inca
times. Transfer to the airport, bus/train station or program extension.

ECOPP04 Puno – Copacabana - La Paz (Bolivia)

Day 1: PUNO – TITICACA LAKE - PUNO
Reception and hotel accommodation in Puno. By mid
morning transfer to the port and visit by
boat the Uros islands,
the unique reed floating islands located on Titicaca Lake, the highest
lake in the world. Continue visiting the Taquile Island,
where descendants from the Incas, who
spin the finest woven goods in Peru, still living. Afternoon
return to the port and transfer to the hotel in Puno. (L).
Day 2: PUNO - COPACABANA (BOLIVIA)
Transport from Puno to Copacabana by bus for
approximately 3 hrs. On the way we will
pass through the small Andean towns of Juli and Pomata in Peru. Pass of the
border and arrival in Copacabana (Bolivia). Hotel accommodation. After check
in, visit to the city and surroundings, the main square and the Cathedral.
Return to the hotel. (B).
Day 3: COPACABANA - SUN ISLANDS - LA PAZ
Breakfast.
Full day excursion to the Sun and Moon Islands. These
legendary and ancestral islands
belong to the origins of the Inca Empire and
there we will enjoy visiting their temples, archaeology heritage, Inca
trails, agricultural works and others. Continue the tour with transport to La
Paz. Arrival and transfer to your hotel in La Paz. (B).

ECOPP05 Puno – Tiwanaku - La Paz (Bolivia) 3D/2N
Day 1: PUNO
– UROS & SILLUSTANI
Reception
and hotel accommodation in Puno. Transfer to the port and
transfer by boat to Uros, the unique floating islands located on
Lake Titicaca. Aymaras and Uros natives still
living in reed houses. Return to Puno and transport to the the
“Chullpas de Sillustani”, towers made
of circular stones and used as tombs for the nobles Colla Chiefs
in the pre-Inca times. Return to the hotel in Puno. (B).
Day 2: PUNO - TIWANAKU – PTO. PEREZ
(BOLIVIA)
Breakfast. Transport from
Puno to Desaguadero, at this point we pass the border (change car) and
continue to Tiwanaku. Arrival
at the Tiwanaku Ruins where we will observe the under grown and Kalasasaya
temples, the agricultural hydraulic systems and other important relics
still there as evidences of the ancestral ceremonial centre of the Tiwanaku
Empire. Later on we continue towards Pto. Perez for overnight in Hotel
Las Balsas located on the shores of the Titicaca Lake. (B,L).
Day
3: PTO. PEREZ - LA PAZ
Transfer from Pto. Perez to the city of La Paz. On the way on and if weather permits we will
observe magnificent views of the high mountains of the “Cordillera Real
de Bolivia”. Transfer to your
hotel or program extension. (B).

Puno
Optional Tours
ECOPP06 Sillustani Tombs 31/2 hrs.
Drive from Puno to
Sillustani (or arriving at the airport in Juliaca, on the way to Puno),
to visit the Tombs or Chullpas de Sillustani, interesting circular towers
made of circular stone and used in past times as the burial site of the ancient
Hatun Colla chiefs. Transport to the hotel in Puno.

ECOPP07 Titicaca Uros & Taquile Islands 8 hrs.
From your hotel transfer to the shores of Titicaca

Full day excursion
to the famous Amantani Island located at 3812 m. This is an impressive
centre of archaeological zones and the place where you can meet the
Yatiri Indians and the famous Titicaca Lake “Shamanes” who read your
future on coca leaves. World famous hand weavings and ancient communal
way of life can be also admired.
