ECOPK01   Cajamarca–Kuelap Cajamarca   3D/2N

 

Day 1:    CAJAMARCA - KUELAP

Arrival in Cajamarca. Private transport with a stop in the charming town of Celendin where you can observe the artisan handicrafts made from straw. Continue afterwards to the shores of the Marañon River and finally we arrive to the town of Chillo, close kilometres of Tingo village. Accommodation in a local hotel. (D).

Day 2:    KUELAP

Breakfast. Morning visit to the impressive fortress and citadel of Kuelap partially covered with vegetation and built up in the top of a hill. Inside will observe more than 400 buildings of circular base and scattered within 6 hectares of land, surpassing "El Castillo", "El Tintero", "Pueblo Alto" and others. In the afternoon drive back to Chillo. Hotel and Dinner. (B,L,D).

 

Day 3:    KUELAP - CAJAMARCA

Breakfast. Transport back to Cajamarca an on the way visit “La Jalca” stone church and the small museum of Leimebamba. Arrival in Cajamarca in the afternoon and transfer to the airport, bus station or program extension. (B).

ECOPK02  Cajamarca-Kuelap-Leimebamba 4D/3N

Day 1:    CAJAMARCA - KUELAP
Arrival in Cajamarca. Private transport towards Celendin village where you can see the artisan handicrafts made from straw. Continue through the Marañon River until the town of Chillo. Accommodation and dinner in a local hotel. (D).

Day 2:    KUELAP

Visit to the citadel of Kuelap, built up in a top of a hill. Inside we will observe more than 400 buildings with circular base within 6 ha., surpassing "El Castillo", "El Tintero", "Pueblo Alto" and others. Lunch. Drive back to the hotel in Kuelap and dinner. (B,L,D).

Day 3:    KUELAP - SAN PEDRO - KUELAP

Breakfast. Visit to the pre-Inca Ruins of San Pedro, where more than 200 hundred rooms where built from stone and some of them have up to 3 floors. Lunch. Transport back to Kuelap. Arrival to the hotel and dinner. (B,L,D).

Day 4:    KUELAP-LA JALCA-LEIMEBAMBA-CAJAMARCA

Breakfast. On the way back to Cajamarca visit La Jalca where a pre-Hispanic church totally built in stone is located. Visit to the site Museum of Leimebamba. Lunch. Continue driving back to Cajamarca. Arrival and transport to the airport bus station or program extension. (B,L,D).
