Chiclayo – Trujillo (3D/2N)

Day 1: Chiclayo

Arrival in Chiclayo and transfer to your hotel. After check in we will drive north first to visit the visit Brunning Museum in Lambayeque City, which contains wonderful gold and silver pieces of the Mochica and Chimu cultures. Then we continue north to the Tucume archaeological complex composed of 26 adobe pyramids and an important settlement of the Sican culture. In the afternoon we drive to the town of Sipan where we visit to Huaca Rajada, an archaeological complex of two pyramids and where we will find the famous royal tomb of the Mochica Leader known as the Lord of Sipan. Here we will also have the opportunity to visit the Sipan Museum. Late evening return to your hotel in Chiclayo. (B).

Day 2: Chiclayo - Trujillo

Breakfast. Early in the morning we visit to the Local Market and the "Mercado de Brujos" in Chiclayo and then continue our driving towards the city of Trujillo where we will visit the famous Chan Chan Ruins. Later on we will also visit to "Las Huacas del Sol y de la Luna" located on the Moche countryside. These pyramids show beautifully decorated polychrome mud murals and walls. Our last visit will take us to the Huanchaco Beach were you would observe the traditional artesian fishermen with their "Caballitos de Totora (reed boats). Hotel. (B).

Day 3: Trujillo

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport, bus station or program extension. (B).
