Arrival in Sucre. Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport, bus/train station

ECOBS02 Sucre-Potosi 3D/2N
Day 1: SUCRE
- POTOSI
Arrival in Sucre. Transfer to the hotel and afterwards our tour starts
with a city tour visiting the Casa de La Libertad, El Mirador and the
Church and Monastery of La Recoleta. After this we will visit to San
Felipe de Neri, Cathedral, House of Independence and the ASUR textile
foundation museum. Overnight. San Lazaro and Santo Domingo churches
(just external views). Then
we will visit the San Felipe Nery Convent, Bolivar Square and other
historical monuments. Hotel accommodation.
Day 2: POTOSI
CITY
Full day excursion to the city of Potosi situated at 3 hours from Sucre.
Visit of a tin and silver mine of the Cerro Rico Hill with entry into
a small colonial mine still on work in the historical site. Visit to the colonial city with the front door of San Lorenzo Church, San Francisco,
Cobija Arch, Jesuit Tower and the museum of
La Casa de la Moneda. (Closed
on Monday). 16h00 p.m. return to Sucre and overnight. (B,L).
Day 3: SUCRE
TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. Transfer out or program extension. (B).

ECOBS03 Sucre city tour 3 hours
City
Tour that includes : the
Casa de La Libertad, El Mirador and the Monastery of La Recoleta. Continuing we
will have an external view of
San Lazaro and Santo Domingo churches. Then we will visit the Monastery of San
Felipe de Nery with its colonial roofs, Bolivar Square and other historical
monuments.

ECOBS04 Tarabuco Sunday Indian Market
1 Day
If it is Sunday, there is an opportunity to have a nice trip to the most
colourful Sucre´s town: Tarabuco. It is
a famous area because the unique textiles and dressing style of the native
people, the Yamparas, with hats imitating the colonial Spanish helmets and the
multicolour handmade ponchos and dresses, which denotes the great textile art
they have kept until now. In the afternoon visit to the home of the famous
Yamparas Indian weavers of the Potolo region. Late afternoon return to Sucre.
