AAPC01 Huandoy Mount (6356 m) 6D/5N
This is an exceptional
mountain that shows some variants, only for experienced, skilled and
well-acclimated climbers, who are
in search of a real climbing challenge.
Day 1: HUARAZ - PISCO BASE CAMP. - We travel from Huaraz city - located at
3,100 m, with a private transport towards the town of Yungay and then
continuing to the LLanganuco Valley. From here we will hike to the Mount Pisco
base camp (4,650 mts). (L, D)
Day 2: BASE CAMP - CAMP I. Mount Huandoy shows some route variants
due to the changing condition of the glacier so after deciding which rout to
climb we will transport our climbing gear to the camp I located at
approximately at 5,300 m of altitude. (B, L, D)
Day 3: CAMP I - SUMMIT ATEMPT.- Our goal is to reach the main summit
of Huandoy Norte of 6.395 m. Climbing
will take approximately 5-6 hours then we will return to our camp 1 for a well
deserved rest. (B, L, D)
Day 4: RESERVE DAY. (B. L.
D)
Day 5: CAMP I - BASE CAMP. Descend
from camp I to the base camp and recuperates the material used
during our summit attempt. (B, L, D)
Day 6: BASE CAMP - HUARAZ.-
From base camp we will hike down to Llanganuco to meet our vehicle and
then transport back to Huaraz. (B, L)
We provide: Private
transport (from/to Huaraz), all entrance fees, professional mountain guide,
noted meals, complete camping equipment (tents for 2 persons, dining tent,
kitchen tent, toilet tent), complete food services while on the mountain, cook,
helpers, mule keepers, mules (horses) for cargo transportation, extra horse for
emergency, first aid kit, porters, communal climbing gear.
Not
included: International and domestic flights, airport taxes, personal climbing
gear, extras and tips.

AAPC02 Huascarán Mount
(6768 m) 8D/7N
Located in Cordillera
Blanca, South Huascarán is the highest mountain in Peru. It offers a
challenging ascent requiring intermediate level alpine skills. This is a good
choice for climbers who want to experience a high altitude climb.
Day 1: HUARAZ - HUASCARAN BASE CAMP. With a private transport we
leave towards the small village of Musho, where we will find our donkeys ready
to transport our heavy equipment up to the base camp. The hike from Musho to
the Huascaran Base Camp located at 4,200 m will take approximately 5 hours.
Enjoy panoramic views over the Santa valley. (L, D)
Day 2: As this mountain is the highest
of this range in Peru, we need to take easy with our acclimatization
to the height conditions, however we recommend to work today
transporting equipment to the Moraine camp and
come back again to the base
camp and sleep there one more night, ( B, L, D )
Day 3:
BASE CAMP – MORAINE CAMP ( 4,800 m ). Today we
start early carrying all our climb material. Overnight in the Moraine camp. (B,
L, D)
Day 4: CAMP MORAINE - CAMP I (5,300 mts). We start early towards Camp I located on the glacier part of the normal route
of Nevado Huascaran. This day will be an easy climb on the long and flint
glacier zone with no many crevasses and quite safe. After 6 hours
we will reach our Camp I where
we will install our tents.( B, L, D )
Day 5: CAMP I – CAMP II. - Today we must climb the most difficult
and dangerous ice cliff part of this route in our way to Camp II (5,990 mts) located very close to the pass between the
North and South summit. During the nights the temperature could be -20 degrees
depending of weather conditions. Therefore
we need to have very good quality climbing gear. (B, L, D)
Day 6: CAMP II - SUMMIT- CAMP II.- This is the longest day of our
climbing tour. Starting at at 2 in the morning we expect to reach the
summit after 8-9 hours. If the weather
permits we could enjoy magnificent views of the Peruvian Andes. Return to camp
II will take 4-5 hours.
Day 7: CAMP II - BASE CAMP. This day we return to the base camp. It
will be a long day too, starting very early to descend in a safe way the ice
cliff part of the walk. (B, L, D)
Day 8: BASE CAMP -
HUARAZ. Hike down to Musho where our bus is waiting to transport us back to
Huaraz. (B, L).

camping equipment (tents for 2 persons, dining tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent), complete
food services while on the mountain, cook, helpers, mule keepers, mules

AAPC03
Pisco Mount (5752 m) 2D/1N
Mount Pisco is named
after the typical Peruvian drink, Pisco.
Pisco offer a great introduction to the alpine climbing in the
Cordillera Blanca. Pisco Oeste, situated in the heart of the range, is an
excellent choice as a preparatory climb before confronting higher peaks of the
Cordillera Blanca.
Day 1: HUARAZ- BASE CAMP
(REFUGIO ). Private transport to Cebollapampa, from where we start
our hike until we reach the base camp of Mount Pisco. (there is a hut located
at 4,650 m). Camp near to the hut. (BL,D)
Day 2: BASE CAMP- PISCO SUMMIT
(5,730 m) - BASE CAMP - HUARAZ . Starting early (3 a.m. ) we will reach
the summit after 6 hours. Return to the camp and descend to Cebollapampa to
take our car back to Huaraz. (B,BL)

AAPC03a Pisco (5752 m)
and Chopicalqui (6352 m) 7D/6N
Mount Pisco is named
after the typical Peruvian drink, Pisco.

(6-7 hours) to the Mount Chopicalqui base camp at 4,500 m. (B, L, D).
Day 4: CHOPICALQUI BASE CAMP - MORAINE CAMP (4,800 m). Together with
the help of our porters we will reach the first altitude camp after 6-7 hours
of continuos walking. (B, L, D)
Day 5: MORAINE CAMP - CAMP I (5,300 m.). We will need aprox. 7 hours
to reach the high camp I located on the upper part of the glacier. (B, L, D)
Day 6: CAMP I – SUMMIT (6,332 m) - CAMP MORAINE. Weather permiting
and good ice conditions we will need aproximatly 7 hours to climb to the
summit of Mount Chopicalqui and 4 hours
to come down the Moreine camp. (B, L, D)
Day 7: MORAINE CAMP - BASE CAMP - HUARAZ . Return to base camp and
continue our hike to Llanganuco valley where our car is waiting to transport us
back to the city of Huaraz. (B, L,)
