AACH01 Torres del Paine 10D/9N
Located
in the southern tip of South America, Torres del Paine National Park
is perhaps one of the most spectacular wilderness areas in the world.
Blue lakes, great glaciers and beautiful green landscapes surround these
impressive and beautiful rocky peaks.
Magnificent fauna and flora can be observed in Patagonia's untamed
wilderness.
Day 1:
Arrival in Santiago. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Morning flight to Punta Arenas, from where we travel towards Puerto Natales.
On the way, herds of Guanacos and rheas can be seen. (B).
Day 3: After breakfast we start our trek walking through typical Patagonian
brush. Today our goal is to reach our camp at Rio Ascensio. (B,BL,D).
Day 4: Trek towards the base of the beautiful Torres del Paine. Enjoy the nice views of the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Return to our camp. (B,BL,D).
Day 5: Trekking towards our camp at a place called Italian Camp.
This day we will have the opportunity to see some wildlife: condors,
foxes,
guanacos. (B,BL,D).
Day 6: Day to explore the French valley. From here we have a great view of the
Western side of El Cuerno del Paine. Return to our camp. (B,BL,D).
Day
7: Trek to Pehoe refuge. Later on we will hike
towards the Grey Glacier. Nice
Views of the impressive glacier can be appreciated. (B,BL,D).
Day
8: Travel back by car to Puerto Natales. Hotel
accommodation. (B).
Day
9: Travel to Punta Arenas from where we take our
flight back to Santiago de Chile. Hotel. In the afternoon, short city tour and
in the evening a farewell dinner. (B).

10: Transfer out. End of our services.
Included: All transportation, professional mountain guide, complete camping

AACH02 Climb Cerro Plomo (5430 m) 5D/4N
Climb your first 5000 m summit! This expedition is ideal for a first high
altitude and acclimatization experience. Mount Cerro Plomo is an easy mountain
that needs no special techniques, but demands good physical condition to reach
the top.. Anyway it is a perfect way to get you ready
for other major expeditions and offers a chance to see the main
summits of the central Chilean mountain range, and future goals (Tupungato,
Aconcagua,…) apart from a spectacular view of Santiago by night.
Day 1: Santiago - La Parva - Franciscano Lake. We leave Santiago and drive to La Parva Ski Resort.
Short walk to camp close to the Franciscano Lake. (3600 m). Acclimatization.

Day 2: Franciscano Lake
- Piedra Numerada. Approach walk to the camp called Piedra Numerada ( 3400
m). Acclimatization. It is possible to
get higher according to the condition
of the group. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Piedra Numerada
- Olla del Plomo. We follow a valley up to the Olla del Plomo Site (6 to 8
hours walk) at a height of 4300 m at the foot of the Plomo Glaciers. Camp. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Olla del Plomo -
Summit - Olla del Plomo. Ascent of the Plomo
(5430 m) (7 to 8 hours) we pass the Pirca del Indio, an ancient Inca sanctuary
before we cross the glacier that leads us to the summit plateau. From the top
and if weather permits, the view of the Andean mountain range is exceptional.
We can see Tupungato (6570 m) and Aconcagua (6959 m)… Return to the camp.

Day 5: Olla del Plomo. La Parva - Santiago. Long return
to La Parva where our car will bring us back to Santiago. Transfer to your Hotel.

AACH03 Ojos del Salado Volcano 18D/17N
Ojos del Salado is considered the highest active volcano in the world
(6893 m.) and is the highest mountain in Chile. Located in one of the driest areas on the planet,
the Atacama Desert, its ascent requires very good physical condition, an
acclimatization program and good climbing equipment since this mountain is cold
and windy.
Day 1: Arrival in
Santiago de Chile. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Day to rest in Chile and
get aquainted with the “new world” . Time to visit Santiago de Chile.
Day 3: Morning
flight to Copiapo. Upon arrival transfer
to Santa Rosa Lake, a beautiful place with flamingos and guanacos. Camp
at 3700 m. (B,L,D).
Day 4: Full day
hiking tour to the summit of "Siete Hermanos" mountain (5.000
m). Camp at Laguna Santa Rosa. (B,L,D).
Day 5:
Transport towards Laguna Verde. Camp at
4250 m. close by the thermal baths. (B,BL,D).
Day 6: 6 to 8
hours hike up to the summit of Mount "San Francisco" (6010 m).
Overnight in "Laguna Verde" camp. (B,BL,D).
Day 7: Resting day or hike around the lake (5 hours). Laguna Verde
Camp. (B,L,D).
Day 8: After lunch transport towards the "Atacama" Refuge (5100 m).
In our approach to the hut we will hike the last few kilometers for
acclimatization. Camp at "Atacama" shelter. (B,BL,D).
Day 9: Day to
transport water, food and equipment to "Tejos" Refuge (5750 m).
Return to "Atacama" Refuge for overnight. (B,BL,D).
Day 10: Resting day at Atacama
Refuge. (B,L,D).
Day 11: After lunch trekking (3-4 hours) towards "Tejos" Refuge.
(B,BL,D).
Day 12: Summit day. Early in the morning we start our 7-8 hour
climb towards the summit of Ojos del Salado. Return to Atacama refuge.
(B,BL,D).
Day 13: Extra
summit day. (B,L,D).
Day 14: Descend
from Atacama refuge, meet our vehicles and back to Laguna Verde. Camp (B,BL,D).
Day 15: Transport
from Laguna Verde to Caldera town on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Hotel accommodation in Bahia Inglesa.

Day 16: Free day to enjoy the
ocean. Hotel accommodation (B).
Day 17: Afternoon
transport to Copiapo and flight back to Santiago de Chile. Hotel. (B).
Day 18: Transfer out. (B).

with private facilities), complete camping equipment, private transport,
